1) Internet marketing is a business. Just like any other business. The only difference is that a lot of it is done online.

2) If you treat internet marketing as a business, you will make money. In fact if you don’t treat internet marketing as a business, you won’t make long term income.

The only way to guarantee the long term success of your internet marketing career is to treat it as a business.

Meaning you need to have separate checking accounts. You need to file the paperwork, and do your taxes etc.

3) Internet marketing is an industry. This isn’t a "get rich quick" scheme. Internet marketing is a multi-billion dollar a year industry.

In fact, the basics of internet marketing is very sound. It’s simply moving people online. Giving people solutions to their problems, and getting paid along the way.

Realize this, because if you treat it as a "scheme"… you will not get very far. If you tell yourself "this doesn’t work", you have to stop. Because it’s not that internet marketing doesn’t work, because it does.

You are just not doing something right.

4) A lot of people are making a lot of money. There are a lot of people making 100% of their living online.

Within the next 10 years, making money online will be more common place then it is today. Realize that you can make as much money as you do now completely online.

This isn’t just a "company" you are signing up for… or just a "technique" you are learning. Internet marketing is doing business online.

5) Others have done it and so can you. People of all background are making money online, and there’s no reason why you can’t too.

You just have to become a student. Have persistent, and take the steps. Imagine you want to become a nurse, and quit your second year of school.

Imagine you want to bake a cake, but don’t take that last step of putting it in the oven. Internet marketing is just like anything else. You have to take the necessary steps.
